DOI Policy | PillarScholar
Learn about PIRJ's commitment to persistent identification and stable linking through Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs).
DOI Policy
Pillar Interdisciplinary Research Journal (PIRJ) uses Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) as persistent identifiers for all published articles. This ensures that scholarly links remain stable and that the Version of Record (VoR) is always reachable, even if its web location changes.
Persistent Linking
Pillar Interdisciplinary Research Journal (PIRJ) is in the process of finalizing its registration with Crossref. DOIs will be assigned upon Crossref registration for all back-catalog and current articles. This ensures that once active, scholarly links will remain permanent and discoverable.
Citing with DOIs
PIRJ strictly requires that all authors include DOIs in their reference lists for all cited works that have been assigned one. This facilitates cross-linking between publishers and ensures a more connected and discoverable scholarly record.
